Aloe Blacc + T&S
The new Aloe Blacc record, recorded and produced by J. Dynamite and L. Michels, has just been mastered and should be released in early 2010 on Stones Throw Records. As ST's label manager, Eothen Alapatt said, "think of Bill Wither’s darkest moments, with a splash of Bobby Womack’s whimsy and just a bit of R. Kelley." here are some pics of the recording. Love the sound of the record. Do you mind if I ask you how you recorded it? Interested to know what desk you're using and if you went straight on to real to real or recorded first on Pro Tools and then on to tape or what? It's got a warmth and sparkle, but sounds very vintage. Keep up the great sounds! Cheers, Sam.
